Hello Artisans and Resale Vendors! Thank you for your interest in participating in this year’s Midsummer Festival.

NEW: If you have been coming to the Midsummer Festival for awhile, you will notice some changes to our fee schedule this year. Please get in touch if you have any questions or concerns. 

Terms & Conditions:

Vendor Site: Size of each vendor space is approximately 10’x10’. There is room to camp behind most sites.

Vehicles: Vehicles are not allowed to travel on the grounds except during set-up and takedown.

Camping: Camping is allowed at your vendor space for $10 per person, paid at the gate.

No dogs are allowed on site: Please inquire about local kennels before you arrive, as reservations may need to be made in advance.

We are a glass-free festival.

We reserve the right to prohibit merchandise and assume no responsibility for costs or lost sales.

Security: We have a general security system but each vender is responsible for the security of their own goods. Most people pack up at the end of the day.

Set-Up: Market Venders are asked to arrive on Friday morning to set up in good time and to avoid line-ups. Your name will be on the pre-registration list at the MAIN GATE. If you have registered an additional person with the early bird price, their name will be on the pre-registration list. Any other people in your group, including children 13 and older, must purchase a pass. Set-up must be done by 5 PM on Friday and 9 AM on Saturday and Sunday. Tear down may begin at 5:00PM Sunday. Please do not tear down your booth during Market Area operating hours. 

Electricity: The electrical supply is limited and not guaranteed. Please bring your own extension cords; 100 foot cords are recommended. No generators are permitted. Festival Facilities: There are two indoor washrooms and hot showers on the grounds as well as a variety of food concessions. Town is a 5-minute drive from the grounds.

Festival Pass: A one weekend Festival Pass is included in your vendor fee per vendor site. If you have additional people in your group, they can purchase an early bird pass before arriving at the festival. Please include their name on the entry form when you have been accepted.

Deadlines: In order to reserve a space, payment must be received by May 15, 2018. Late requests will be accepted, but space cannot be guaranteed.

How to apply

1. Print and fill out the 2019 Marketplace form and submit it.

2. You will be contacted when the application is approved and invited to submit payment.

3. Print a copy of the form and send it back WITH payment before May 31st, 2019.

4. Cheques are payable to the Bulkley Valley Folk Music Society.

You can also drop off your form and payment at Mountain Eagle Books in Smithers.
